Kylie Jenner rang in Christmas Eve at her family’s annual holiday party clad in custom Mugler from head to toe. The 25-year-old beauty mogul and her daughter, Stormi, received custom looks from current house creative director Casey Cadwallader, which were a play on couture pieces from the brand’s 1999 archives. It makes sense Jenner tapped Cadwallader for the occasion after attending the Thierry Mugler exhibit opening at the Brooklyn Museum, where she looked back at the designer’s most iconic creations.
Jenner and Stormi settled for Champagne-toned dresses with black bead and lace embroidery, with her own look boasting a thigh-high leg slit that offered a peek at her Mugler x Wolford contrast-seamed tights and a pair of printed stiletto sandals. The bodice of Jenner’s number highlighted her hourglass figure with a plunging neckline and a thin spaghetti strap on one side, while the other was decorated with embellishment. She was styled by sister duo Alexandra and Mackenzie Grandquist, finishing her look with diamond stud earrings and a simple black suede clutch. Jenner’s manicure included a cranberry-red tip, and she employed a sweeping cat eye, peach blush, Leo lip liner, and Don’t @ Me shine lacquer from her own cosmetics line. Finally, her dark hair was curled into a 1950s-esque bob. Meanwhile, Stormi’s one-shoulder ballgown had a metallic gold sheen and her hair was secured in a braided bun for the evening’s festivities.
Jenner posted three TikToks on her account from Christmas Eve, which showed her getting ready, snapping selfies, and hanging out with best friend Stassie Karanikolaou, who wore a red rhinestone Area bustier dress and Swarovski jewels to the party.
Cadwallader, who also dressed Jenner for the CFDA Awards and The Business of Fashion’s BoF 500 Gala during Paris Fashion Week, offered his seal of approval on Jenner’s Instagram of the matching looks: “❤️ Merry Christmas! 🎄,” he wrote.
